Manchester United may be going into the international break with three points and a much needed break for their players who seem to be dropping like flies, but there is one player who might fell more than a little bit aggrieved at the comments directed his way.
Daley Blind has been, in our opinion, one of United’s best players this season and is simply not someone who should be coming in for any criticism – however well intended it may be.
The man dishing his opinion out was Gary Neville, who of course is now a respected pundit after spending years as a star player at Old Trafford.
Whilst he is more than entitled to his opinions, we think he was wrong to say that Blind needs to make more ‘killer passes’ and that he ‘takes the easy option’ and here is why.
Click on Daley Blind himself to see why we think Neville needs to think again about his harsh words.
Manchester United fans. How good has Blind been this season for you? Was Neville wrong to have a pop at him? Let us know your thoughts below or tweet us @LaFootyettes.

Gary Nevile should stop saying rubbish. If a team has not gelled does not mean he should be criticising some one like Blind. Blind has been one the best player for Man U this season he left RVP and start criticising Blind who’s playing as a holding midfielder.what about Rooney who’s playing behind the striker.

To me I think blind is uniteds best player so far…he play like he was in the squad years ago and ability to play in different wings makes him unique and superb!

Daley Blind should be captain. At least he passes to utd players, reads the game and organises the others around him. Best utd player apart from De Gea this season
