After his World Cup performance, most people thought that this would be a vital season for Schurrle.

However when handed the chance to impress, he has not really taken it with both hands and his manager has made that point on more than one occasion.

It seems that Willian has worked his way back into the starting line up at the expense of Schurrle and on recent displays, it is easy to see why.
