Manchester United fans are a passionate bunch and we certainly think that they have the right to be given their club has taken a fair few ups and downs over the last couple of years!

Not only did they have to put up with a manager we were fairly sure was not up to the job, but there have been players arrive who simply were not up to the standards we would have expected and others who were kept, handed new deals and allowed to decline even further.

With the arrival of Louis van Gaal, things have improved (eventually) and there were a fair few players culled from the first team squad – but with the likes of Tom Cleverley only sent out on loan and not sold for good, they still loom on the horizon and we have taken a look at three players who United fans definitely do not want back!
