Branislav Ivanovic has upped his game this season and has made sure that he gets forward more than Mourinho asks him to – and if Luis provides a similar width on the opposing flank, he will be in that starting line up in no time.

Luis is a natural left back, unlike Azpilicueta and is far more used to providing width and helping with the attacking side of things.
