Defend like his life depends on it One thing that a Jose Mourinho team is renowned for is its defending. Or parking of the bus, depending on how you like to look at it.

This season, their attack is pretty sharp and as per usual, the boys at the back are looking tight as well.

Since his arrival in the summer from Atletico Madrid, left back Filipe Luis has struggled to have the same impact as Diego Costa and has found his match time limited, with Cesar Azpilicueta favoured by Mourinho.

However after a straight red card for Azpi and the subsequent suspension handed down to him in the league, Mourinho chose to go with Luis in the Champions League game against Maribor and will have to do so in the league clash at Old Trafford.

With a real chance to impress finally given to him, we have put our heads together and come up with five ways the Brazilian can make sure Player’s Player of the Year winner Azpilicueta is kept out the side.

Click on Filipe Luis to see exactly how we think he can keep that first team spot in Mourinho’s side.

Get forward as much as possible
