Late goals are something we are becoming accustomed to but Arsenal left it later than most to secure a win and a very vital three points against an Anderlecht side who can really count themselves unlucky not to have humiliated the Gunners.
Arsene Wenger may have faced an injury crisis, but it was not his young goalkeeper who caused him issues on the night – rather his established players who looked frightened every time Anderlecht ran at them and forwards who failed to create pretty much anything.
