Does Podolski have a future after all?Late goals are something we are becoming accustomed to but Arsenal left it later than most to secure a win and a very vital three points against an Anderlecht side who can really count themselves unlucky not to have humiliated the Gunners.

Arsene Wenger may have faced an injury crisis, but it was not his young goalkeeper who caused him issues on the night – rather his established players who looked frightened every time Anderlecht ran at them and forwards who failed to create pretty much anything.

They might be famous (or mocked, either works) for constantly securing fourth place, but playing like this for much longer will see them crash out of the competition they work so hard to get in – and in a rather embarrassing manner to boot.

With that in mind, we have come up with five things we learnt from Arsenal’s game against minnows Anderlecht.

Click on the hero of the hour, Martinez to unveil our five talking points from Arsenal’s VERY late win!

Super Stopper!

Arsenal fans. Is this just papering over the cracks or do you think it is unfair to judge at the minute given all the injuries? Let us know your thoughts below or tweet us @LaFootyettes.

“It is unfair to judge at the minute given all the injuries. To be realistic I give credit to the guys for away win in the champs league.it doesn’t matter the way you play, results do.even though I didn’t watch game itself.because I was at work.I can’t help but feel rather bad with all talk, criticism, bad mouthing, fingerpoints towards my beloved arsenal fc.instead of feeling good about our the result we got that we really needed, begin to attack our army straight away after the match from our very on fans never mind the so called pundits and analysts. The injuries of late are distracting the play and affecting our results I believe.very soon we will get our rythm back, things will turn around let us have patience. I end here….back to work.. Zambia’s no.1arsenal fan.
