Move over Fergie, Jose has a new bromance buddy nowThey thought it was going to be an eight point gap, but for the second time in Manchester this season, Chelsea and Jose Mourinho saw their three points turn into one after conceding late goals.

The Blues might not concede many later goals than the one from Robin van Persie, but they arguably should have killed the game off far earlier after missing a couple of guilt edged chances and then stepping off the gas.

Mourinho may be moaning at the officials but his players were not blameless and here are five things we saw this weekend from the league leaders who managed to extend their lead over Manchester City to six points.

Chelsea are giving up goals at the end of games: Man City, Crystal Palace, Man United. What is common? On goes Mikel who is supposed to be used for defence, and off goes an attacking midfielder. Attack may be the best method of defence. Do what you’re doing and succeeding with not change up at the end. Something is wrong. Clearly Chelsea, like Mourinho, like to walk off the pitch 3 minutes from time. A game is only over when it’s over. Perhaps it’s an attitude aspect as well. This cannot happen again this year.
