United now play the Dutch way – according to Blind at least

Ex-Ajax defender Daley Blind believes United have adopted a traditionally Dutch playing style under Louis van Gaal.

Speaking to a national newspaper Blind claimed: ‘We are trying to build up our plays starting in defence. That is something that’s not common in England.’

Blind went on to say: ‘I am used to it because Ajax and Holland play like that.’

The 24 year old signed for £14 million and recently netted his first goal for the club from five appearances.
