Mata makes his markIn their last game before the international break, Manchester United secured another win meaning it is now back to back wins now for Louis van Gaal.

After being told by the fans, the media and other teams that they are a side in crisis, United faced an Everton team who are not only in  better shape than they have ever been, but one who tends to give them a fair bit of trouble too.

With the David Moyes connection long gone, the game had a bit less spice than last season but United fans knew that three points were more vital than ever.

In a weekend where Chelsea faced Arsenal, Liverpool got all three points and Manchester City recorded yet another win, the Red Devils had to be on the top of their game.

Luckily they were, gaining a crucial three points and here are some talking points from the game.
