Gareth Bale is being linked with a move to Manchester United and you can hardly blame United fans for being a little bit excited about that, but to land the superstar they would have to shell out at least £90 million in transfer fees alone.
That is a huge amount of money by anyone’s standards and we think that is a massive bone of contention for Louis van Gaal and his board – United need at least one more midfielder and a couple of defenders and already have a great attack.
However, the chance to land a player like Bale could well be too good to pass up and according to some of the press today, initial talks over a move are drawing closer.
With that in mind, we have come up with five reasons we think United need to be spending such a huge amount on the winger.

United fans. Is this something you would consider or is paying £90 million for one player a recipe for disaster? Let us know your thoughts below or tweet us @LaFootyettes.

we do not need a player like bale, there are cheaper players who could perform jst as he’s, our best problem is on the defence line up. So united shld spend more on that and one box to box defensive midfilder.

Bale is a great player and is worth that amount instead of Ronaldo considering age and abilities..
