Didier Drogba was always going to be written in the Chelsea history books after his first spell at the club and they do say you should never go back.

However, like he did in Munich and so many times for Chelsea before, Didier Drogba is ripping up the script and proving all the doubters wrong.

With their two main forwards Diego Costa and Loic Remy out through injury, Drogba has led the line in a Champions League game, a six pointer at Old Trafford in the Premier League and now a potentially tricky away trip in the League Cup. And scored in each and every game.

Looking like he is back and has plenty to give, Drogba is showing those who wrote him off a thing or two – and we think that he could well become a key player for the Blues once again.
