Five reasons Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger should NOT buy Gonzalo Higuain

So Arsenal are finally linked with spending big money on a top forward – but for once, their fans are not totally convinced by the idea.

Boss Arsene Wenger has never really been known as a big spender and the idea of paying over £20 million for someone usually gives the Frenchman a nosebleed, but it seems that he is willing to open talks with Napoli over £31.2 million rated forward Gonzalo Higuain.

Had this been the case in the summer, we think that the Arsenal faithful would have been all over that and the Argentine could have made a real difference to their title chances.

Now however they simply have bigger issues to address and as per usual, Wenger has missed the boat.

With that in mind, we have come up with five reasons why Arsene Wenger and Arsenal do not need Higuain.
