Five Real Madrid players who shone against Barcelona

It is a great time to be a Real Madrid fan following their El Clasico win over Barcelona and not only does Carlo Ancelotti deserve some praise for his tactics and managing to get his team to keep their heads after losing such an early goal, we also think a fair few of the Real Madrid players put in a very decent shift and showed exactly why they are playing for arguably the biggest club in the world.

The Clasico was a make or break game for the club, with the three points either putting them right back in the title race or seeing Barcelona steam ahead and Los Blancos knew that they simply had to shine.

Luckily for their fans and manager, they did just that and we have come up with five players we think were excellent against their greatest rivals.
