Five players Arsenal need to shine in the Champions League

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has not been getting the easiest time of late and his headache looks set to get a whole lot worse against Anderlecht in the Champions League this week, with a squad so thin you could see the bare bones.

Injuries, suspensions and lack of form have hit the Arsenal squad with a vengeance in recent weeks and it seems that Wenger does not really have a choice about his starting eleven this week – he will probably be grateful he can make one at all.

With his first two goalkeeping choices out, Wenger has to consider just what he can do and is set to gamble on an unknown youngster – with the rest of his selections looking a little bit worrying too.

With that in mind, we have complied a list of five players who have to perform in order for Arsenal to get the win against their Champions League opponents.
