Five midfielders Louis van Gaal needs to consider for Manchester United

Any time you watch Manchester United, it is evident they need at least a couple of central defenders to shore up those leaks – but as we note, the Red Devils also need to bring in a couple of midfielders and make sure that they are as good as the likes of league leaders Chelsea in the middle of the park.

After a summer long saga involving Juventus player Arturo Vidal, the Red Devils are now being linked with Sami Khedira who is certain to leave Real Madrid, either this January for a cut price fee or in the summer when he is a free agent.

Given United and manager Van Gaal are clearly after other options in the middle of the park, we have come up with five players they could consider making a swoop for this January.
