Five Chelsea players who should get a chance against Maribor

Chelsea fans have smiles on their faces and rightly so after the weekend, when they managed to get another three points and keep the five point gap between themselves and title rivals Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table – and they are now focusing on the return of the Champions League and the crunch game against Manchester United on Sunday.

Before that six pointer can take place, the Blues face Maribor in the Champions League and given they are the group whipping boys, it could well be a chance for some of the Chelsea fringe players to show what they can do and possibly convince Jose Mourinho that they deserve a chance on the weekend as well.

With that in mind, we have come up with five players we think should be given a chance to impress this week by manager Jose Mourinho.
