Arsenal star Sanchez claims teammates are NOT pulling their weight?

So Alexis Sanchez has become the latest footballer to become ‘unhappy’ at his club but this time it is not because he hates his manager, the food or indeed the weather. Or because he misses his family.

Although if previous sufferer of the latter, Carlos Tevez is anything to go by, should Sanchez feel the same, all he needs to do is move across to the other half of north London and all will be solved.

No, Sanchez is reportedly unhappy at the efforts his teammates are producing and one in particular is making him lose patience.

Mesut Ozil has come under fire from both the fans and the media this season and now it seems that the star of the Arsenal side has also decided to stick the boot in.

Now we assume that Sanchez is referring to pre injury Mesut, not post given the German is making sure we are fully aware of his recovery progress with his social media updates, but if he put half as much effort into his displays on the field as he did his Twitter account, we would certainly be spellbound by Ozil.

Sanchez meanwhile could not have asked for a better start to his Arsenal career. He is flying, involved in everything good at the club and is really displaying the credentials that we always knew were there but that fell somewhat under the radar at times during his time at Barcelona.

He is not just becoming important to Arsenal, at the minute, he is Arsenal. And one who if he should leave or even suffer a dip in performances, could cause the Gunners and Arsene Wenger some real problems.

As it is, it could all just be paper talk. Rumours fly around constantly. Players want to leave, they want to stay, they want bigger and better cakes than the year before.

Footballers are a strange breed of people, but Sanchez seems amiable and about as pleasant as they come on the field. Off it could be a different matter obviously, but from his performances in an Arsenal shirt so far, the fans should have no complaints.

Of course, that is not the issue. The issue is the winger’s thoughts about his fellow players and their performances. And he has a point.
