We will see you a Carlos Tevez poster and we will raise you a Louis van Gaal one.
Clearly that has been the line of thought from Manchester United ahead of the new Premier League season and if their recently unveiled billboard is anything to go by, they are taking it very seriously.
Louis van Gaal is the man tasked with bringing the glory days back to Old Trafford after the disastrous reign of David Moyes and so confident are the Red Devils in their new manager that they have rather wittily changed the first letter in ‘Manchester.’
Now, visitors to the city will be welcomed in with a massive image of the United boss, along with the slogan: ‘Welcome to Vanchester!’
We for ones are massive fans – although it may be worth pointing out that opposition manager Manuel Pellegrini’s name is actually already the first three letters of the city they both occupy!
Manchester residents. What do you think of this poster? Is it better than the Carlos Tevez one? Is Manchester red or blue? Let us know your thoughts below or tweet us @LaFootyettes.
