Liverpool admit interest in bad boy of football Balotelli

The Daily Mail have our Footyettes looking up with surprise as they seem to think that Liverpool are considering a move for Mario Balotelli.

The troubled AC Milan forward has been looking for a route back to the Premier League after realising the grass is not always greener since his move from Manchester City, and despite Arsenal seemingly pulling out of any deal, the Reds may well offer him a way back to England.

Of course, given Liverpool have lost Luis Suarez and decided not to make a move for Loic Remy, it is hardly surprising they are keen on someone like Mad Mario, who despite his issues does have a proven goal scoring record in England.

The Liverpool manager spoke about the forward and noted: ‘Balotelli is a big talent,

‘I saw that in this time at Inter Milan as a young player and obviously going to Manchester City when we had a real close eye on him there.

‘He’s got all the qualities. He’s 6ft 3ins, he’s quick, his touch is terrific and he can score goals.’
