Dear Diary, today Chelsea paid to send me away

Dear Diary,

Once upon a time, I did well for a once great club called Liverpool. Then a very rich club (with more money than sense) decided to pay £50 million for me.

I jumped at the chance. It gave me Champions League football, lots and lots of money each week, a blue shirt that suited my blonde hair better than the red one ever did and even a skipper who even volunteered to take my wife off my hands when I was finding it hard to score.

Sadly it all went wrong. Managers came and went but one thing stayed the same. I just couldn’t find the back of the net. Even the Special One could not make me the Scoring One.

Finally Chelsea had enough. They decided to send me away for the rest of my contract. I now play for a club you may have heard of, AC Milan.

Chelsea like sending their rejected forwards there. That’s where Sheva was exiled to as well.

Hoping it goes better this time and I score my first goal in less than 732 minutes, my former record.
