Chelsea finally get rid of outcast Torres

There is actually some good news for Chelsea fans in a week when they have spent most of their time sweating over the fitness of Diego Costa as the Daily Mail claim they have finally gotten rid of Fernando Torres.

The £50 million forward has been nothing but a total disappointment under a variety of managers since his move from Liverpool and we certainly think that Blues fans will be glad to see the back of him.

The unlucky club Torres will be joining is Serie A side AC Milan, who were desperately searching for a low budget forward after selling Mario Balotelli to Liverpool and have found one in the Spaniard.

Torres is set to join the club on loan for two years, meaning that Chelsea are essentially paying him to leave – and freeing up a space in their squad to allow Jose Mourinho to bring in another forward.
