Chelsea fans react to finally seeing Torres depart

It comes as no shock to see the internet and social media give Fernando Torres the send off he has earnt after his £50 million disaster at Chelsea and truth be told, it has become a running joke to even bring the forward’s name up amongst football fans.

As if his pre-season efforts were not enough, with vines being made left, right and centre of his various misses (the best being the open goal from two yards out) it is nothing compared to what he is getting now he has finally left.

Chelsea have effectively paid him to go away after sending him on loan to AC Milan for the remainder of his contract – a whopping two years – and if you ask any of our Footyettes, they seem to think it was money well spent. Unlike his original transfer fee.
