Make FellainiAfter a disastrous first season at Manchester United, Marouane Fellaini already looks set for the exit door.

If the Daily Express are to be believed then Fellaini, who joined for £27.5m from Everton last summer, could be on his way to Serie A after his agent started negotiations with Napoli chief, Riccardo Bigon.

Despite a successful five years at Goodison Park, Fellaini was unable to replicate his impressive skills for the Red Devils and spent the season being frequently criticised for his hit and miss performances.

The 26 year old midfielder appears to have run out of time as far as new United boss Louis van Gaal is concerned, though this doesn’t seem to have deterred Napoli from wanting to acquire the Belgian’s services.

Under Van Gaal, United have a chance of a fresh start and getting rid of some underwhelming players like Fellaini might be the right idea. Though it must be said, last season was uncharacteristically poor for Fellaini, so another year to prove himself seems fair, but football is ruthless and we agree with giving him the boot!
