Mourinho considers third raid on Atletico Madrid?

Even Chelsea fans are rolling their eyes here at La Footyette headquarters as Metro report Jose Mourinho is set to swoop for yet another Atletico Madrid player.

After already having netted Filipe Luis and Diego Costa, not to mention bringing Thibaut Courtois back to the club, Chelsea are now chasing after defender Joao Miranda.

The Brazilian was one of the very best defenders in the world last season and  would have done far better for Brazil than either David Luiz or Dante during the World Cup, yet was bizarrely left at home by the now jobless Luis Filipe Scolari, who Chelsea fans know well and let’s face it, don’t rate very highly!

Mourinho may have claimed that his summer spending was done and dusted, but we think he will have one eye on another centre back, with Kurt Zouma not exactly impressing during pre-season so far and Tomas Kalas already out on loan.
