Didier Drogba Metro have Chelsea fans dreaming of a return for one of their most loved stars and we think that Jose Mourinho will be just as keen to see Didier Drogba return to Stamford Bridge.

The former Chelsea forward left on what may well be the biggest high of all time after scoring the winning penalty in Munich to secure the Champions League for the Blues, and now it seems he could return.

Drogba would be going back to Stamford Bridge as a player/coach – and would not only offer his wisdom and experience to eggs that Jose Mourinho feels are yet to hatch, but also make a contribution on the field as well.

Given Demba Ba and Romelu Lukaku look to be on their way out of the club at least for a loan spell, we think that Drogba’s return could be a welcome one and may even take some focus from Diego Costa – who will be under huge pressure not to turn out like Fernando Torres and indeed Andriy Shevchenko.

Chelsea fans. Is Drogba coming home a dream come true 0r do you need younger, better forwards? Let us know your thoughts below or tweet us @LaFootyettes.
