Oribe PeraltaMexico’s first game of the World Cup was wonderful, but wasn’t without drama – then again, are there any games this summer that we can say that about?

With the opening game one that most countries have earmarked as ‘have to win’ the stakes are higher than ever and players are hoping to impress and make their mark on the tournament – not to mention get a World Cup goal to their name!

With that in mind, we will keep you waiting no longer! Here are a few things to note from Mexico’s 1-0 victory.
