Should we even have World Cup hopes as England fans? This viral seems to think so!

With the tournament we have all been looking forward to now underway, we are waiting for England’s opening campaign in the competition and are not quite sure how the tough match against Italy will pan out.

However, should we have any doubts about the hopes of England or indeed any other nation, we have been provided with a diagram of just what we should think.

Now normally, we Footeyttes like to form our own opinions, but for once, we think this viral has got it spot on.

There are three ‘hopes’ to chose from – the high hopes section for the likes of Brazil and indeed Argentina, the dark horses hopes where Belgium feature and the obligatory no hope, where Euro 2004 winners Greece seem to prop up the pile.

Now as England fans, we apparently are the only country who are ok to think all three are possible and as bizarre as it sounds, that seems to get it spot on.

No one would be shocked if we crashed out of the group stages -lets be honest here. However, should England progress to the latter stages, they would certainly be dark horses to potentially go on and lift the whole thing.

We can even harbour high hopes according to this chart – and should the blend of youth and experience Roy Hodgson has selected get it right, we can expect very good things indeed -apparently.

Here is the chart in all its glory:

Do you really think that it could go any of the three ways for England? Are we really that unpredictable? What about the rest of the diagram. Let us know your thoughts below or tweet us @LaFootyettes.
