Marouane FellainiThe bad news just keeps on coming for Manchester United fans this summer and it seems that the Daily Star are hell bent on making it just a little bit worse.

The publication have claimed that Marouane Fellaini is set to leave the club this summer – which as one of our Footyettes pointed out is very good news – however the bad news simply has to follow.

The Red Devils are prepared to take a massive loss on the player who they purchased only last summer with David Moyes at the helm and now Louis van Gaal has decided that flop Fellaini is not for him.

Getting a club to part with close to £30 million for Fellaini would be a harder ask than convincing Wayne Bridge to leave Frankie Sandford alone in a room with John Terry, thus the Red Devils are prepared to offload the unpopular forward to the highest bidder.

It is thought that Ed Woodward will still demand around £12 million for the Belgian international and we think that is more than enough given how poor Fellaini has been since his switch from Everton.

Manchester United fans. Are you so keen to get rid of the forward that you would happily let him go for free or should he be given another chance? Let us know your thoughts below or tweet us @LaFootyettes.
