Five players Manchester United need to sign this summer

After a difficult season and with new manager Louis van Gaal at the helm Manchester United will be looking to strengthen their squad this summer.

Rumours of a blank cheque book for the Dutchman not to mention a host of top names being linked with the club show no signs of stopping and with other clubs making moves in the market, United are determined not to get left behind.

There are several areas in which the squad simply have to strengthen and the money cannot be wasted unlike last term.

With that in mind, here are the five players we believe are up to the task of coming in and restoring the team to their former glory.
