We think that he should be on the plane to Brazil come the World Cup and this week, Ross Barkley is our star player.

The Everton midfielder has been one of the best players we have seen this season and has come on leaps and bounds.

Everton may not have gotten over the final hurdle for a top four position which once again seems to be going to Arsenal, but it is simply indisputable that Barkley has been one to watch – and that fifth place is a brilliant achievement for Roberto Martinez.

The Everton boss has shown time and time again this season that he knows not only how to get the best out of the young England player but also how to hone and develop his career.

After netting a cracker of a goal against Manchester City, Barkley came to our attentions once again and rumours of a move to a so called ‘bigger club’ this summer are circling thick and fast.
