Cristiano-RonaldoHe is the current world player of the year and has dug his side out of a hole time and time again.

Real Madrid had the chance to take the La Liga title race and place it in their own hands after the earlier slip up by cross town rivals Atletico Madrid- and it looked like they were on course to do so, but after going 2-1 down to Valencia it looked like a miracle was going to be needed.

Luckily for Los Blancos, they have their very own miracle man in Cristiano Ronaldo, who duly obliged with one of the very best goals you will ever see.

Not content with his scoring record or indeed various super free kicks and goals from open play down the years, the forward decided to produce an audacious back heeled goal in the dying seconds of the game to see the side from Madrid get a vital point and have a hope of winning the elusive treble yet.

Was Ronaldo’s the best goal you saw this weekend?

Is it a contender for the goal of the season? Let us know your thoughts below or tweet @LaFootyettes.
