Real Madrid make Suarez their top transfer target

Liverpool could well have a rather large task on their hands this summer if Metro are to be believed.

According to the publication, Luis Suarez has become one of the top targets for one of the biggest clubs in the world this summer.

Real Madrid are after a world class forward and are willing to offload Karim Benzema and even Alvaro Morata in order to bring in a star name.

The FFP regulations mean that Real Madrid do have to sell before they can buy and after bringing in Gareth Bale last summer, there is not exactly a huge amount of cash flying around at the club.

That is good news for Arsenal who are keen on the Frenchman but Liverpool may need to worry.

Suarez has made it clear that should the likes of a Real Madrid or a Barcelona swoop for him, new contract or no, he will consider a move abroad.

Given Liverpool look like failing to win the title, we think Suarez may have his head turned by the Champions League finalists who could yet have the best season in their history.
