Chelsea stopper unsure over long term future

Chelsea fans seem to be in a twist at the latest claim coming from The Guardian and it is hardly surprising.

The publication seem to be under the impression that on loan goalkeeper Thibaut Cortouis is unsure of his future at Stamford Bridge.

Now as one of our Footyettes notes, given his performances over the last couple of seasons, we think that it is time for Jose Mourinho to recall the Belgian number one and bring him back to Stamford Bridge.

Courtois has enjoyed a rather successful loan spell in La Liga, where he has won every domestic title on offer and also the Super  Cup and the Europa League.

It could get even better for the starlet this weekend with the Champions League final just around the corner and Atletico Madrid may well need his heroics in goal more than ever before if they are to lift the most coveted trophy in the domestic game.

We think that it would be a treat to see the stopper in the Premier League next season but it would obviously mean that current number one Petr Cech may well have to settle for a spot on the bench.
