koke 11Our Footyette favourites are considering the claim from the Daily Express, as they seems to think that Atletico Madrid star Koke has no interest in leaving the club.

The La Liga side are currently odds on favourites to win the Spanish league title and are into the semi-finals of the Champions League.

That has of course placed  huge amount of pressure on the players and stars such as Koke and Diego Costa have faced speculation over just what will be happening in the summer all season.

Now, after being asked yet again about a possible move to Manchester United, starlet Koke made it very clear where he feels his future lies.

He claimed: “I am very happy and I do not think about leaving the club right now,

“I am happy at home, I want to continue here and that is why I have a long contract.

“The rumours in the paper will have no impact on my game. I am young, but I am calm.”

At only 22 years old, Koke has his whole future ahead of him, and given how well he seems to be developing under manager Diego Simeone, it is fully understandable that he would not want to join the sinking ship that is Manchester United.

After all, why would you go from being in the Champions League semi-finals to the Europa League?
