Cristiano Ronaldo – Real Madrid v Osasuna

It is fair to say that we expect a fair bit from Real Madrid player Cristiano Ronaldo – but even so, the forward’s first goal against Osasuna left us open mouthed.

Come to think of it, his second was not too shabby either, but the long ranged effort for the first goal was the stuff of FIFA dreams.

The Ballon d’Or winner showed exactly why he won the most coveted single award in football during the 4-0 romping against Osasuna and will have Bayern Munich quaking in their shoes as well ahead of the second leg semi-final Champions League tie at the Allianz Arena.

Ronaldo is now level with Luis Suarez for the race for the Golden Shoe and we think that a couple more performances like that will see the star land yet another award.

Of course Real Madrid have already added one trophy to their collection this season with the Copa del Rey and are in the hunt for both the Liga title and also the Champions League – their coveted La Decima – with Ronaldo aiming to honour his promise to Los Blancos fans that he will take them to a final.
