torres baHe has declared his side out of the title race, and Jose Mourinho has made it clear that his forwards are not so special – in fact Metro think they could all be axed this summer.

Mourinho has of course seen his side lose to Crystal Palace and rather dramatically ruled them out of the title race, and now it seems that he is taking no prisoners in his squad.

This could well be the second season in a row that the Special One ends up without a trophy or a title and he will not let it become a hat-trick. Mourinho claimed: ‘I don’t think it’s the moment to speak about next season and the market, but it’s clear to everybody that Chelsea next year wants to bring a striker. That is clear. It’s also clear we want to improve our players.

‘Normally at the end of the season, players that are not playing a lot or players who are not happy and prefer a change, that is also part of the market.

‘We want to improve the team and the players and make some surgical movements in the transfer window.’

The likes of Diego Costa, Edinson Cavani and Ramadel Falcao have all been linked with big money moves to the Blues.
