4356538It was a huge win and the goal from David Silva pushed Manchester City closer to a second title in three seasons.

The little Spanish wizard managed to score the goal of the weekend away to Hull City and showed that despite the Citizens losing to Wigan in the FA Cup and being knocked out of Europe, they are still a force to be reckoned with.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side had to cope with ten men for more than 80 minutes after their skipper was sent off for a straight red card challenge and they managed to gain a huge three points in the same day that rivals Chelsea lost at Villa Park.

Now the problem for the club will be having to play Martin Demichelis and Joleon Lescott as their centre backs for the duration of Kompany’s suspension – but with a couple more goals like that from Silva, we think they could well be ok!
