Top Five reasons why Liverpool will win the Premier League

Top of the pile on Christmas day is a pretty good achievement by anyone’s standards.

Whilst it may well be all about the presents under the tree for Liverpool fans on the 25th, offer then the chance to swap all of that for the Premier League title come May and there would be no shortage of takers.

Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool have surprised most people with their form this season – perhaps even themselves.

Had you asked them at the start of the season a run at the top four would have been the best they would have hoped for. Now it is all systems go for the title.

Luis Suarez has been sensational and has just penned a new deal – which could either be seen as a massive sign of intent from Liverpool or a way to increase the former release clause for him. Depends on your point of view really.
