Sunderland – Sunderland v Manchester City

Three points against Manchester City is a pretty impressive win no matter who you are that is why Sunderland share the honours with neighbours Newcastle this week.

Both the Black Cats and Newcastle were sensational and had star performers all over the field.

Wesley Brown came back into the side after a long absence and was a rock. Add to that Phil Bardsley’s effort and display and you have a defence that even kept Alvaro Negredo and Sergio Aguero out.
