This is one international break we would like to be on

Here in the Footyette offices, things are heating up this summer and no, we’re not talking about the temperatures,  but about this picture of not one but two footballers, or more specifically, their tanned and toned torsos that have landed on our desks.

Serbian duo Aleksandar Kolarov and Branislav Ivanovic may have been taking some time out from their busy training schedules to cool down, but all they succeeded in doing for us was heating things up to an alarming degree. Looking oiled and good enough to have as our screen savers, the duo were relaxing in Barcelona ahead of Serbia’s clash with Columbia. Whilst we Footyettes didn’t really have anything resting on the outcome (which was a 1-0 Columbia win) we were disappointed not to get a goal or shirtless celebration from these two. Well worth the yellow card we say! We will certainly be taking a trip or two to both Stamford Bridge and the Etihad this season.
